DEET 50 is the strongest mosquito repellent offered by Care Plus®. It’s available in DEET 50% lotion or DEET 50% spray. An insect bite can cause serious health problems such as malaria, dengue fever and yellow fever. You can contract Lyme disease from a tick bite. These are important reasons to protect yourself and your family with a DEET product against insect and tick bites. What is the strongest protection against insects and ticks? The Care Plus® DEET 50% lotion!
AVOID BITES AND STINGS WITH ANTI-INSECT DEET 50% LOTION!

Cover the skin as much as possible with clothing when you go outside. Wear long trousers, outerwear with long sleeves, closed shoes and socks. Use Anti-Insect DEET 50% lotion to lubricate the uncovered skin. Apply the anti-mosquito with the palm of your hand. Put a small amount of DEET 50% lotion on your fingertips and spread this over your face. Wash your hands and then apply to the back of your hands. Do not apply to your fingers to avoid contamination during the consumption of food or drinks.
ANTI-INSECT DEET 50% LOTION APPLICATIO
Make sure that the Anti-Insect DEET 50% lotion does not come into contact with damaged skin (wounds, sunburn), eyes, nose, nostrils, mouth, lips or mucous membranes. Do not apply the mosquito repellent under clothing or in areas where the skin bends, such as the inside of elbows and knees. For children, avoid using Anti-Insect DEET 50% lotion in areas that can easily come into contact with eyes or mouth, such as the hands and forearms. Before using Anti-Insect DEET 50% lotion, read the package leaflet carefully.
ANTI-INSECT DEET 50% LOTION AND THE SUN
Apply Anti-Insect DEET 50% lotion 10 minutes before you go into the sun. If you use the mosquito repellent in combination with a sunscreen product, apply the sunscreen first (30 minutes before sun exposure). Then apply the anti-mosquito agent twenty minutes later (10 minutes before exposure to the sun). Your skin is now optimally protected.
ANTI-INSECT DEET 50% LOTION DURING PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
DEET 50% lotion is not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use a product with 50% or 40% DEET in the first three months of your pregnancy. During that time choose the Anti-Insect Natural from Care Plus®. In the second or third trimester of pregnancy, you can use a product with a low concentration of DEET, although we do not recommend this. It is wiser to use Anti-Insect Natural during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
